Leaving Laodicea

The second edition is finally here!

It’s available on Amazon as an e-book (also available on Kindle unlimited, if you’d like to read a bit before committing) and as a paperback.

Community connections create resilience. You’ve heard of regenerative agriculture. Leaving Laodicea introduces the concept of regenerative community. Just as regenerative agriculture has begun to restore the soil, regenerative community brings healing to our collective soul, the spirit that binds us together.

This journey takes you away from cultural self-deception and into meaning. It may inspire you to pack some physical boxes, it will inspire you to discard the baggage of false expectations.

Leaving Laodicea includes practical tips on how to regenerate community, start communities from scratch, or join existing communities.  It encourages you to examine your values, use beauty as a weapon against mass distraction, and build a life that satisfies, something you can truly call “home”.

In regenerative community, it is understood that we must participate in the life of those around us to maximize both our own health and happiness as well as the most positive outcomes for others in our communities.

Instead of stewarding the land, to build or rebuild a regenerative community, we must learn to steward people.

In our garden, connections not only transfer and create resilience, they help aerate and feed the soil so that it becomes progressively easier for each member to grow and thrive.

I think we all understand what a crazy time we live in, but we have the power to change the soul of our world. Let’s get to work!
